Yes. Onit holds Indiana GC License GL2400237, carries full commercial coverage — general liability, auto, a $5M umbrella and workers' comp — and provides bid, payment and performance bonds on projects that require them. Certificates and additional-insured endorsements are issued on request.
Neither extreme. Every project stays under our own hands-on management — never run from a trailer. We self-perform with our own W-2 crews on building services and select projects like Winding Way, and on envelope work we deploy a tight bench of trusted trade partners we've worked with for years. Either way you get one accountable team, tighter schedules, and quality we control from tear-off to final inspection.
Both. We partner with general contractors as a trusted envelope trade, and because we're a licensed Indiana GC, we also serve as prime contractor and permit holder on full exterior restorations — as we did for Marion Housing Authority across 14 structures.
Yes. We deliver certified payroll, Davis-Bacon compliance and Section 3 workforce documentation, and as an MBE we support participation goals on publicly funded work.
Routinely. On occupied multifamily and public housing, we coordinate resident advance notice, keep access clear, and run daily site sweeps so people stay safe and the property stays livable throughout the work.
A 1-year labor warranty on our installed work as standard, with extended coverage available on a project-by-project basis, plus full manufacturer warranties registered in the owner's name — for example, up to a 40-year Owens Corning system warranty when a matched roofing system is installed.
Yes. We document hail and wind damage, scope the full exterior, and work within insurance-funded budgets — including upgrades like Class 4 impact-resistant shingles when they make sense for the owner.
Selectively. Our focus is multifamily and commercial portfolios, but we take on single-family and homeowner envelope work when it's the right fit — especially roofing and storm restoration.
