Faith, excellence, and a weathertight standard.

Who we are

Founded in 2023, Onit Construction Services is a specialty contractor headquartered in Indianapolis and certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by both the State of Indiana and the City of Indianapolis. We hold a licensed Indiana general contractor credential, but we lead with what we actually do best: the building envelope — roofing, siding, gutters and windows — delivered by our own crews and trusted trade partners, managed hands-on from first inspection to final punch.

We serve multifamily owners, property managers, general contractors, developers and housing authorities across Indiana. From 160-unit communities to occupied storm restorations for public housing, our work is managed hands-on, inspected, and built to hold up over time.

How we're built

Onit runs on a lean, disciplined operating model — modern estimating and project systems in place of heavy administrative overhead — so owners get senior attention, honest scheduling and transparent pricing on every job. We organize the business around three divisions: Exterior Envelope (our core — roofing, siding, gutters and exterior painting), Building Services (common-area cleaning, unit turns, post-construction cleaning and groundskeeping), and Select Interior Scopes (interior painting and drywall, taken on when the scope and conditions are right).

Investing in people

Through the Workforce Launchpad Construction Track — in partnership with Radiant CDC and the University of Indianapolis Sease Institute — Onit helps train and place the next generation of construction professionals, with a focus on OSHA certification, blueprint reading, construction fundamentals and career readiness. Building people is part of building the company.

The standard that doesn't move

We're a faith-driven company, and that isn't a tagline — it's the filter every decision runs through. Three guardrails never move:
